COMMON QUESTIONS BEFORE YOUR FIRST SANCTUARY SATURDAY
Do we have to talk about our relationship in front of strangers?
No. Sanctuary is not group therapy. Most of the day is you and your partner working privately together, with guidance.
What if I’m private and don’t want to be put on the spot?
You won’t be. There is no forced sharing, no spotlighting, and no pressure to perform vulnerability.
Is this therapy?
No. Sanctuary is practice-based. It’s for couples who want to strengthen what’s already good and keep their relationship alive as life evolves.
Is this going to be awkward?
The day is structured, guided, and held with ease. Couples tend to relax quickly once they feel the tone of the space. It is way more “normal” than you might think.
Is this a networking event or a social club?
No. Sanctuary is not a networking space. It’s a sanctuary for your relationship.
Is the intimacy portion public?
Never. The EPIC Intimacy Lab is partner-to-partner. Nothing is shared publicly. No one is asked to demonstrate anything. It’s private, guided, and optional.
What if my partner is skeptical?
That’s common. Many couples arrive with one person more excited than the other. The experience is designed to meet both partners where they are.
