Why I’m Blending My 50th Birthday with Velvet Touch

Turning 50 feels… sacred.

An entire half-century of life: loving, stumbling, rising, learning, shedding, creating, remembering, becoming.

When something matters deeply, I gather. I curate.

I couldn’t imagine celebrating this threshold in any other way than with an experience that gives us all a space to celebrate this special milestone birthday while also giving us a chance to gather- as Eden Visionaries, to play in a wonderland of delight!

My highest joy is to create experiences where love becomes the atmosphere, presence becomes the practice, and joy becomes the language we speak.

So I thought- why not combine what I’m celebrating personally with what I know so many of us are yearning for collectively?

That’s why I’m blending my 50th birthday with Velvet Touch- a soul-filled, sensual experience for a select group of couples designed to reignite intimacy, play at the edges, laugh till we cry, and celebrate what’s real and sacred in partnership.

What should we pack for the event?
Comfortable clothing for the daytime sessions and outdoor activities, festive or themed wear for the evening events (such as animal onesies, sexy lingerie, casual loungewear), and any personal essentials. A detailed packing list will be provided closer to the event date.

Can I attend without a partner?
Sorry buddy, but no. This event is for couples only and all activities are designed for couples.

Can I bring my kids or pets?
This event is tailored for couples to focus on their relationship and therefore is currently for adults only. However, we are planning ways for kids to be able to join us in the future. Re: pets, the venue has a strict no pets policy so leave your furry friends at home.

Are meals included in with my ticket?
Yes, all meals from the kickoff evening dinner to lunch on day 3 are included. We focus on providing nutritious and delicious options suitable for a variety of dietary preferences.

What if we have dietary restrictions or allergies?
We aim to accommodate all dietary needs. Kindly inform us in advance, and we'll ensure meals are tailored to your requirements. There will be a form sent to you to fill out your dietary preferences as we get closer to the event. We create meals that are mostly paleo & vegan.

Where is the event located?
The event takes place on a private retreat center in the Catskills region of New York State, offering couples an idyllic backdrop to reconnect and rejuvenate. It is about 2 hours outside of NYC and 1 hour south of Albany, NY.

What’s the best airport to fly into?
You have some options:
BEST *JFK International Airport - for direct flights from West Coast.
Closer airport is (ALB) Albany Airport. You can also fly into Newark Airport

Is transportation provided to the venue?
Transportation is not included in the event package, but we can provide recommendations for the best ways to reach the venue and try to pair you with.

Is there any prior preparation or materials we need to bring for the sessions?
While no prior preparation is mandatory, we'll send a pre-event guide to all attendees with suggestions to enhance your experience.

What happens if the event gets canceled due to unforeseen circumstances?
In the rare event of a cancellation, attendees will be notified immediately and alternatives option or dates will be provided. Depending on how close we are to the dates no refunds will be given.

Do we need to participate in all the activities?
While we encourage full participation to get the most out of the experience, all activities are optional.

Will there be professional photography or videography during the event?
